Behind the Counter

El Azul was founded on the belief that quality Latino foods and ingredients should be available to everyone in the North Liberty and surrounding areas. North Liberty has no other open grocery stores on Sundays, and residents have to drive far for grocery staples and wait in long lines at bigger chain stores. We have been dreaming about opening a Mexican market since visiting Mexico in 2020 and we are proud to serve residents of North Liberty.
